Who We Are?
Hi, my name is Kunal. I am a civil engineer by profession and I am a “content creator”. I am a very simple guy with simple hobbies and habits. Getting to the point, you are here probably because you read how I managed to reduce my screen time/social media wastage time from approximately 4 hours to less than 30 minutes.
To be honest, it was neither too easy nor too difficult either. The main point is forcing yourself to get bored. I am sure You have probably heard this countless times from other people or from millions of videos on YouTube as well. But, how do you actually do that? Especially when everything around you is now somehow linked to our screens and internet.
Well, I do not have a guaranteed magical potion or an online “course”, which I can sell you for a few thousand dollars/rupees to dramatically reduce your screen time and get your focus back to where it was earlier. But I can surely tell you what I did to get my life back, so that I can now successfully conduct my daily cycle which contains at least a 12-hour job, exercise, study time (2 hours at least), and still have some spare time to dedicate to my hobbies/creativity.
It might sound delusional, but NO. It is very much possible. The point is, we are not too busy, or too exhausted, etc. but we are too much distracted and over-stimulated. I can lecture you for a few more hours but that is not my goal. So, without wasting anytime, I would just say that the things I did to reduce my screentime are very unorthodox, may sound stupid and easy, but you wouldn’t know unless you try them.
I have distributed my efforts into a periodic activity of 6-weeks, which I upload on Instagram and YouTube. You will be asked to follow a ‘MAIN activity’ & a ‘SIDE activity’ for 6 weeks. And if you fail to follow those activities, there will be a PENALTY which you HAVE to follow, otherwise there is no point in trying.
